PGF PLAYER PRINTOUT PICTURE ID'S, PGF COACHES PRINTOUT PICTURE ID AND BACKGROUND CHECKS AND PGF INSURANCE WILL BE THE ONLY ITEMS ACCEPTED AT CHECKIN.  WE "WILL NOT" ACCEPT ANY OTHER FORM OF INSURANCE

New Team

If you are a new team to our Premier Girls Fastpitch site then you may Create a PGF Team Account on our site. After you register, you must wait for our website to email you, your user id and password. Once you have received your user id and password, you may now log on as though you are a previously registered team by clicking the "Championship" or "Qualifiers" button. This will take you to your Team Page where you may enter all of your team information. If you do not receive your log on information within 1 hour, please use the lost password button. Make sure you check your spam box. If you still did not receive your log on info then, contact Steve, In the subject type "I did not receive my log on info". Include your team name and age division in your message also indicate that you have checked your spam box.

Once you have chosen what tournaments that you would like to enter, you have two ( 2 ) weeks todownload/print the entry form and submit payment or you may be dropped from the registration process and be required to start over.

Attending Qualifiers (Once Qualified or Invited)

Any team that has been granted a 2012 Invitation and/or has earned a 2012 Qualifying Berth is ineligible to play in other 2012 PGF Qualifier Tournaments.  If an invited/qualified team chooses to play in another PGF Qualifier they will forfeit their previous 2012 invitation or berth.

**HOTELS**

Please contact one of the Hotels from the tournament Hotel list and indicate that you are with Premier Girls Fastpitch. A complete list of Hotels can be found on your team page. Log on to your team page and click on the appropriate tournament, under the Blue Hotel button.

**Please be aware that your team is required to make all Hotel Reservations with one of the Premier Girls Fastpitch Hotel sponsors listed on this site. Failure to use tournament hotels will jeopardize your team's participation in future events**

***Teams that wish to make a hotel reservation at a location of their own choosing may do so for a fee, payable to Premier Girls Fastpitch, in the amount of $500.00 per team(Qualifier) or $1,500 per team (Natl Championship)***

**PLAYER PROFILES/COLLEGE BOOK**

You may create and update your player profiles, for the tournament College Book at anytime, by logging onto your team page, then clicking on the blue button "Edit Players". Each college in attendance will receive a detailed profile booklet of all the teams registered in this tournament. The college coaches will also have full access to your team profiles online, before and after the tournament. It is important that you update your team profiles when needed. Once the deadline has passed, your changes will not be entered in the printed book but will be available for online viewing only.

                                                            College Coaches Tent (Between Fields 3 & 4)

Teams must be checked in before you play your first Bracket Game!!!!!!!

ALL PLAYERS AND COACHES MUST BE PRESENT A CHECKIN WITH THEIR PGF PICTURE ID CARDS!!!!!!

Required to bring to Check-In:    1.) Picture I.D. (Players & Coaches)

                                                        Acceptable forms of I.D.

a.)   “PLAYERS - PGF PICTURE” I.D. CARD ONLY

b.)   COACHES - must have a PGF picture I.D. with verified background check.

  Note: Coaches will be required to show their background ID cars to the umpire before each game.  Make sure this is completed before you arrive to the tournament.  We will not accept an invoice showing that you paid, only the cards itself.

2.) Copy of your roster from the PGF website. Roster can be found   under your Team Page at the PGF website.

                                                3.) Copy of your team Insurance

18HS,16U,14U - POOL PLAY GAMES begin at 8:00am (Last games scheduled will be 12noon, due to afternoon opening ceremonies)

***Gift Exchange-Both teams will exchange gifts after your first pool play game.***

 

OPENING CEREMONIES

Parade-Downtown Huntington Beach-Surf City USA

3:00pm-3:45pm – Assemble for the Parade- Coaches  & Players

Where: 301 Main Street, Huntington Beach, Ca.---See “Maps & Fields” for directions)

Parking: There are numerous parking structures downtown. Parking will be somewhat scarce due to the US Open Surfing Championships. Parking Fees vary depending on where you park.  Please give yourself ample time to find parking.

Suggested Attire:  Team Uniform or Practice Wear or anything that represents your organization.

                             We really don’t care what you wear as long as your organization is well represented.

                              *Please bring your team banner to display while walking down Main Street

4:00 pm-PARADE BEGINS

Family members can line up on the sidewalks. Teams will walk down the 3rd & 2nd block of Main

Street. Once they reach the 1st block they will disperse to the sidewalks, on either side of the street and head to the Huntington Beach Pier. Once they cross Pacific Coast Hwy to the Pier, everyone will talk down the stairs. Once you are underneath the pier everyone will then turn left and walk down the asphalt path to the US OPEN Surfing Championship Concert Area.

**When walking into the concert arena. Players will be literally sitting on the beach (sand), in the center of the concert arena. The bleachers are located on each side of the center of the arena and will be reserved for family members, VIP’s etc. This is a huge area.

6:30pm-                 End of Opening Ceremonies- Free to disperse into downtown

                             Huntington Beach for more fun and excitement!!

7:30pm-10:00pm    Cocktail Party - "COLLEGE COACHES ONLY"!!!!  (Hors d’oeuvres & Cocktails)

Snacks & Drinks – Dwight’s Concession Stand will remain open till the end of the Opening Ceremonies. They are located directly behind the stage of the Concert arena.

PGF Apparel – Team IP, the official supplier of PGF apparel will have T-Shirts and Sweatshirts for sale at the Opening Ceremonies event.

COMCAST VIEWERS - GAME WILL MOST LIKELY AIR AFTER THE CHICAGO CUBS BASEBALL GAME, IN OTHER COMCAST AREAS IT WILL BE EITHER LIVE OR A 2-3 HOUR TAPE DELAY
